A1 English Lessons

A2 English Lessons
The A2 English Test is one level up from A1 Test. The Home Office has introduced the A2 test so that applicants can improve upon their English language further after passing the A1 test for their original UK visa application. You can only do A2 English tests in the UK at Trinity College London or IELTS SELT Test Centres.
Applicants extending their spouse visa before the expiration of their first two and a half years spouse visa must do the A2 English test at a Home Office approved centre or their application will be refused, and they might be given a discretionary visa or a 10-year route partner visa instead.
Applicants on a 5 year 'Parent of a Dependent Visa' must complete the A2 English test before their first 2 and a half year visa expires, and again this must be done at a Home Office approved centre or their application will be refused, and they might be given a discretionary visa or a 10-year route parent visa.

B1 Home Office English Test
